Alexandra Banhazl (soundie)-Multimedia artist specializing in video, sound art, poetry. Emotions create perception and emotions destroy perception. Emotions are pure creation. What's living underneath our emotions is idea and language. How we express and communicate our perception is multi-layered. I've been spending time with creating films, film scores, and sound art. Each piece is its own story, desire, question, answer, and flow. I gravitate towards surrealist, symbolic, deconstructed, abstract aesthetics as I wander through our metaphysical and physical reality.  It was a pleasure listening to the written words that I was sent through You Heard Me Write, and to extend its' shadow through music and sound.
